Being involved in the child welfare system can feel overwhelming. You may be trying to understand your case plan, complete required tasks, maintain a relationship with your children, and make important changes in your life—all while working toward the goal of bringing your family back together.
At 4 Sisters Solutions, we believe parents deserve to be heard, respected, and supported throughout this process. Our focus is parent engagement. We work alongside parents to provide practical guidance, encouragement, and support while helping you understand what is expected and take meaningful steps toward your family’s goals.

4 Sisters Solutions was founded on the belief that children and families should be honored throughout the child welfare process and that parents should have meaningful opportunities to make changes, strengthen relationships, and work toward safe reunification.
Our approach incorporates principles from Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach that helps us better understand the needs behind behaviors.

Your Voice Matters: Parent Advisory Council
Parents who have experienced the child welfare system have an important perspective—and that experience can help improve the system for other families.
The Peer-led Parent Advisory Council (PAC) gives parents an opportunity to share their experiences, perspectives, and ideas to help strengthen child welfare services and parent engagement. PAC provides parent voice and feedback to Partnership for Strong Families (PSF), the lead community-based child welfare agency serving North Central Florida.
We are looking for diverse parent voices and experiences to help inform this work. The PAC is open to parents living in Florida’s 3rd and 8th Judicial Circuits, serving Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor, and Union counties.

Complete the Parent Advisory Council interest application. After submitting your information, you will be contacted for a follow-up interview to learn more about your interest and ability to participate in PAC activities.
Information provided through the application is used to help identify a diverse, parent-led PAC membership. Information collected will not impact your current or future child welfare case.
